The Police ICT Company is limited by guarantee and is wholly owned and funded by Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs), on behalf of policing, to support law enforcement to make the public safer through better ICT.
PCC ownership of The Police ICT Company is evidence of their hands-on involvement in the reform of Policing. Our Company Board has strong and focused leadership from our Chair Katy Bourne, Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex, and we have a number of PCCs sitting as Board Members – alongside Chief Constable and Home Office colleagues.
The Company has a close working relationship with the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC), the national body that supports PCCs, and other local policing bodies across England and Wales. You can find out more about the Association and find your local PCC on the APCC website.
