Maximising the digital opportunity
WHEN 2 – 4 February 2021
WHERE Online, Microsoft Teams
The Police Digital Summit 2021 will be a three-day virtual event, focusing on good practice from within policing across the National Digital Policing Strategy’s five key ambitions:
Delivered in partnership between the Police ICT Company and the National Police Technology Council, this year’s Summit aims to help policing maximise the opportunities of digital.
The National Policing Digital Strategy, launched in January 2020, emphasised that the pace of change has never been this fast, yet it will never be this slow again. Never more so than during the worldwide events of 2020 has technology been relied upon so heavily to help us adapt and revolutionise the way in which we interact, plan and deliver our services and enable workforces and the public to stay connected.
Adobe gives everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. We empower people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
Adobe Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud bring together our design expertise with customer intelligence to deliver experiences that get results.
As a Strategic partner with Police ICT, Adobe is working with Forces to deliver on the Policing Vision 2025, as set out by NPCC and enabling the Forces to maximise the digital opportunity is at the heart of what we do. Adobe works with back office and front line workers to enable officers and staff through digital and deliver solutions that drive huge admin efficiencies, cost reductions, security enhancements, ultimately leading to seamless citizen experiences.
We continuously work with Police ICT to capture this value, share with the UK Forces and thus empowering them to maximise the digital opportunities at hand. Adobe’s dedicated Customer Success managers, solution consultants and account teams work daily to deliver education to all Forces to continue to utilise the technology made available through the framework and to deliver excellent digital experiences.
1Spatial is a global leader in providing software, solutions and business applications for managing location and geospatial data. Unlocking the value in your data, by bringing together our people, innovative solutions, industry knowledge and our extensive customer base.
Location is the corner stone of policing and therefore it is vital that police forces have location data that is complete, current or accurate data and interoperable between departments within a force and other organisations.
Our technology enables you to take control of your geospatial data quality, by implementing automated rules, to manage and validate your location data. Our Police Location Data Quality Hub offers a range of applications that address common data issues within police forces, enabling police forces to ensure they are using good quality location data and ultimately, give officers the confidence in the data they are using for decision-making.

We live and operate in a digital age, so not surprisingly most people now look to technology to help meet their training and development needs. Me Learning is at the forefront of this transformation in learning by providing public sector organisations with access to cutting-edge digital training which is affordable.
This includes providing digital training on all the main technology systems used by UK police services, as well as converting training previously delivered in a classroom or via train-the-trainer sessions into digital, virtual and blended formats.
For over 14 years, Me Learning has been helping the police and other public sector customers unlock their workforce potential with cost-effective and innovative training which really works.
Find out how we can support you on your transformation journey by preparing your workforce so they fully embrace the digital age, with secure training, available when and where they want to learn.
The frontline is now using mobile devices, laptops and applications to perform mission critical tasks, whilst relying on external networks invisible to IT and therefore outside of their control. The user experience when working on these networks is often unreliable. NetMotion is the only remote access solution that actively improves that experience.
NetMotion persists and optimises network traffic flowing to critical applications that the frontline and remote workforce now rely on to do their job. When it comes to operational benefits, NetMotion increases officer safety, improves situational awareness and strengthens mobile performance, enabling staff to work reliably and seamlessly on any network, anywhere.
NetMotion also provides unique, real-time analytics into apps, sites, networks and user behaviours that matter, identifying ways to improve performance and fix problems proactively, often before they impact the frontline. Unlike traditional VPNs, the NetMotion platform has been specifically designed for the modern-day agile workforce.

Simpson Associates are a Microsoft Gold Partner, holding four Gold Competencies in Data and BI, with extensive experience working with UK Police Forces on their data analytics journeys.
We have worked with several Police Forces, including Derbyshire Constabulary, Cheshire Constabulary, West Yorkshire Police and British Transport Police, on a range of data and analytical solutions using the Microsoft platform, including Power BI. Consolidation of disparate data sources into a single repository not only ensures quality and accuracy for analytics; it enables easy and secure data sharing with other forces and agencies, at a time when collaboration is needed more than ever.
For many forces, often the biggest question is where to begin? In response, we have developed the “Data Analytics Accelerator for Policing” – a packaged solution to accelerate Police Forces’ adoption of analytics. The solution, built in Microsoft Azure, includes a pre-designed data model for Incidents and Occurrences.
National Policing Digital Strategy

Our team is supporting police forces, law enforcement organisations and suppliers to develop the technology blueprint to help deliver the Strategy.
