Our third Police ICT Summit, once again jointly hosted by The Police ICT Company and the National Police Technology Council, was a very successful event.
Following on from the two-day joint Summit held in January 2017, the focus for our 2018 Summit was on demonstrating progress in delivering ICT reform across policing and its law enforcement partners, in line with the Policing Vision 2025.
The Summit looked to the future and demonstrated what a transformed service should look like and what contribution suppliers can make to aid this transformation.
The Summit provided a unique opportunity for two-way conversations between suppliers and police forces, sharing best practice and exchanging innovative ideas that tied into the Summit key themes. There were updates from senior stakeholders in policing, across Government and industry on ICT Principles, Enabling Programmes, the Digital Policing Portfolio, Home Office Programmes, and more.
There was also a large exhibition hall for our Supplier Partners, providing delegates with the opportunity to meet and talk to suppliers, including SMEs, whose innovative products and services would be of interest to them. In addition, there were opportunities to host workshops during the two-day event, aligned to the theme of “Delivering the Future”.
